Welcome To Our Law Firm

We love serving clients. We serve them in three areas: foreign accounts compliance; Federal tax controversies, and estate planning and administration.
Our firm’s founder, Stephen J. Dunn, is a leader in an area of practice he calls “foreign accounts compliance.” He brings individuals into compliance with United States laws concerning foreign income, accounts, and entities, at a minimum of tax, interest, and penalties. Mr. Dunn is adept at United States taxation of foreign-source income, and at analysis and application of United States tx treaties with foreign countries.
Throughout his career, Mr. Dunn has represented taxpayers in tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. He works well with Internal Revenue Service personnel, and obtains excellent results from them for his clients. He seeks to spare his clients the expense and stress of litigation. But when necessary he litigates. He has excellent litigation skills.
Throughout his career, Mr. Dunn has performed estate planning for clients, and administered their estates and trusts. Drawing upon his experience and judgment, Mr. Dunn provides sound counsel to estate planning clients. He is expert in Federal estate and gift tax, and in income taxation in respect of decedents.
Mr. Dunn devotes absolute fidelity and loyalty to his clients, in all matters. He understands that the most important characteristic of a lawyer is honesty and integrity, in all matters, large or small.

Mr. Dunn is also an author. He believes that writing for publication is an excellent way for a lawyer to develop expertise, and to disseminate it. He has authored any articles for professional journals. He blogs regularly. He has published a treatise, Foreign Accounts Compliance, which he is revising.
